Curtis the Account Manager WK EP003

This week our old co-worker, Curtis, joins us to talk about his new career as an account manager. We also got a few stories about his life and his image as a soccer enthusiast.

Curtis brought and was drinking vermouth, which can be a delicious drink when kept properly and of a sufficient quality. Vermouth is essentially a fortified wine with herbs and/or botanicals in it. I recommend getting your google on for more details, but its a whole world of alcohol if you haven’t explored it much.

If you enjoyed this episode please leave a review on Apple Podcasts and feel free to leave a comment in the comments section and say hello to us on Twitter @wastedkpodcast. Send us a message if you are in the Atlanta area and would like to be a guest as well. Sean will be speaking at DragonCon this weekend speaking on the podcasting track, so find him and have a drink! Or, say hello.

Market to Me Wasted Knowledge Episode 002

A wild Pat has appeared! We realized before starting this show that some of our guests might not be able or comfortable with having a few cocktails and using their real name to talk about their professional lives. In consideration of that “Pat” is on this episode to talk with us about the world of marketing and how they got there. It is a wild ride that involves Utah and some random singing, but hang in there. Those beautiful distilled grains of truth are in there and lovingly hand crafted by TC and Sean. Enjoy and feel free to say hello on the twitters.

~Cheers!

Recipe for Pat’s cocktail:

  • 1 slice of heirloom tomato, gently muddled in a rocks glass
    .25oz lemon juice
    Fill with ice
    2.5oz London Dry Gin
    1oz soda water
    Stir
Garnish with a strawberry on the rim

Our First Mobile Episode – With a rock band why not? M001

As it happens, Sean travels a lot. He runs into the same situations that are the premise for Wasted Knowledge. That is to say, late at night he has random conversations with people while on the road. This first episode, in what will be a series of mini-episodes, is a quick interview with the rock band The Adarna. They coined the term “Jet City Rock” and will melt your face if you give them half the chance. True to rocker form, they also enjoy a post show beverage and were kind enough to humor a friend with a late night interview.

Cheers!
