Alexandre Gabriel Ep 7 S 2

Welcome to another episode of Wasted Knowledge! If you’ve never listened; it’s essentially drunk personal history with 2 professional bartenders, TC and Sean, and a professional guest that we make drinks for.

This is a very special 1 part interview. We got the chance to talk with Alexandre Gabriel, the owner and master blender of Maison Ferrand. They are responsible for such brands as Pierre Ferrand Cognac, Citadelle Gin, and Plantation Rum. Alexandre is truly a gentleman who is obsessed with his craft in the best of ways. He has a fantastic story and we only wish we could spend more time with him. Alas, he had culture and good spirits to spread, so we just keep listening to this episode over and over looking forward to the next time.

Jeff @ Southbound Part 1

It’s our 10th interview! Woohoo! This is also our very first on site recording of the podcast. In this episode TC and Sean go to Southbound restaurant and bar in Chamblee, GA. The rum gets passed around as they talk about different variations of that liquor, and talk about inspirations from working with others in a restaurant.
