In this episode of the season of lost episodes I sit down with Mark, trumpet player and member of the Atlanta Symphony. We drink gin and talk about how life is as a professional musician. One of our gin cocktails, the vesper, leads us into a Bond breakdown. We also talk about the late great Anthony Bourdain and our evolution as professional drinkers.
Coming at you straight from my guest’s kitchen! Episode 3 of the season of lost episodes brings us to Cynthia, Director of HR at a company that we won’t disclose here. The biggest oops this episode….someone forgot to hit record for the first 45 minutes, so we rallied with fuzzy brains and managed to talk about everything we meant to (I think). Cynthia talks about her role in HR, travel, dating over 50, and of course our drinks (gin and sake). Come and learn about what an HR director does. Cheers!
Welcome back to another season of Wasted Knowledge! If you’ve never listened; it’s essentially drunk personal history with 2 professional bartenders, TC and Sean, and a professional guest that we make drinks for.
To start season 2 we interviewed Dr. Sarah Milkovich, the lead scientist of the Mars Rover 2020 Mission, at DragonCon. This is the second half of the interview. So, go back one if you missed the first part ;-). It was a thrill to have Dr. Milkovich on the show, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. We hope you enjoy her interview as much as we did.

Welcome to the last interview of Season 1! We decided to go live again and we met up with Sean’s current beverage director (aka, boss) at a local bar. In this second half of the interview Sean and Kevin finish interviewing TC, and then it’s Sean’s turn to answer for his past transgressions. We dig into all sorts of things like TC’s pet peeves, what else he would do professionally, gaming, cosplay, Sean’s “famous” cocktail, gin, and mix/match/Malort! Finally, we will learn why this episode is called “Hot Soup”. If you can’t wait go to roughly the last 8 minutes and listen for an unfamiliar voice :-).
You will also hear a lot from the smoke eater we were sitting next to. Noted for next time we record live.
